Conduct

To ensure that everyone has a fun experience and are kept safe please familiarise yourself with the below expectations of conduct during our Star Dance Events.
To enter our Championships you must have your dance schools permission and be regularly placing 1st or 2nd place in festivals/ competitions.
Pointe only allowed in Senior sections.
The Adjudicators decision is final.
Age taken from the 1st day of the championships.
No vocals allowed on the song track whilst a competitor is singing.
No tap sounds allowed on a song track during a tap section.
Championships will be placed 1st to 6th.
For Safeguarding purposes no photography or videography to be taken of performers on stage (dancing or in the line up). We will try to ensure there is a professional available to capture those special moments for you.
No entering/ leaving the auditorium whilst music is playing or the adjudicator is speaking.
Please remain quiet in and around the auditorium. If young child become unsettled please take them out straight away.
Only 1 teacher or parent can remain backstage if there are props that need to be put on stage and the organisers are unable to facilitate. Other than that only performance allowed backstage.
All performers must report backstage and be ready to perform at least 1 hour prior to their section.
